SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION 2021

The annual celebration of CEDLES Science Month 2021 is a little different due to the 2nd year pandemic time in the country and all over the world. This year’s theme for Science Month Celebration is “Agham, Pananaliksik at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Matatag at Maunlad na Pamayanan”. More than just a celebration, it recognizes the significance of science education in our daily lives despite the pandemic situation.

E. De leon Elementary School.

Various activities are held to celebrate Science Month 2021. Grade 3 pupils and teachers focus on Sci- Tiktok Dance contest. Grade 4 pupils and teachers work on the Sci -Face Mask making. Grade 5 pupils and teachers concentrate on Sci- Essay writing and grade 6 pupils do the Sci -Poster making. Pupils are so eager and enthusiastic to join the contest in these varied activities.

Announcement of winners and awarding is on October 1, 2021, which is participated by the pupil-contestants, teachers, and school head, Dr. Susan Junio Corro. Winners received their certificates of recognition and for the non -winners, they received certificate of participation.

Winning a game is a big deal to those who participate in it with all their hearts and do a lot of hard work to win it. It adds confidence, joy and motivation to pupils and help them grow personally.

“I really enjoyed watching the video of my grade 3 pupil, dancing a Science Concept Tiktok, though she only got the 3rd place, I am still very proud of her”, said one of the parents after the virtual program.
