CEDLES GRADUATION 2022: A celebration of perseverance, resilience, and hard work towards success.

The Col. E. De Leon Elementary School held its virtual graduation ceremony for batch of 2021-2022 on June 27, 2022, at precisely 9:00 am. The virtual ceremony was broadcasted thru different media platforms particularly on Zoom, Google Meet, and Facebook Live, with the theme of “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Masigasig sa mga Pangarap at Matatag sa mga Pagsubok.” The ceremony provided an opportunity for the 271 graduates to celebrate, commemorate and recognize the years of hardships, failures as well as successes in pursuing knowledge that can help shape their future and of the world.

One hundred thirty-nine (139) male graduates and one hundred thirty-two (132) female graduates were proudly presented by Dr. Susan J. Corro, principal of Col. E De Leon Elementary School to Dr. Evangeline P. Ladines, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent of the City of Parañaque, who with good grace accepted and confirmed the graduates for successfully and satisfactorily completing all the basic requirements given by the Department of Education. Furthermore, thirty-nine (39) graduates were awarded with Honors and five (5) with high honors. All of these students persevered and challenged themselves to broaden their knowledge and skills despite the limitations and constraints brought to them by the current situations

The commencement ceremony is one of the grandiose and significant events in the school calendar. It is the moment to showcase pride, honor and celebrate the students’ achievements and hard work along with their families and loved ones. In line with this, Col. E. De Leon Elementary School acted in accordance with the DepEd-approved technical guidelines on the standard proceedings of the virtual graduation ceremony.

In addition, the ceremony was graced by DepEd officials, representatives, delegates, and guests, leaving inspirational messages not just for the graduates but for all the viewers of the Facebook Live.

The commencement exercise serves as a sign of hope and new beginning for the graduates. It is a time of recognizing achievements and congratulating students for taking their first step towards success. As Winston Churchill said, “Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm”. True to that, these graduates experienced numerous setbacks to achieve this momentous occasion. Conquering difficulties in every step of the way demonstrated that they are worthy of this success.
