CEDLES CELEBRATES TEACHERS DAY
This year marked the National Teacher’s Month Celebration with the theme “Gurong Pilipino, Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino”. The country began its annual celebration of the National Teacher’s Month Celebration last September 5,2022 to October 5, 2022. Which has been declared by United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Education (UNESCO). This celebration started in 2011 as mandated by then-President Benigno C. Aquino III’s Proclamation 242. In connection with this, Col. E. De Leon Elementary School celebrated the World teacher’s Day with various activities which were participated by teachers, Student Pupil Government (SPG), parents, learners, and stakeholders in recognition of teachers’ excellence and dedication who give unparalleled service in educating students. The Department of Education honored those who are in the teaching profession, acknowledged and gave emphasis on their crucial role, loyal service, dedication, and commitment in nurturing not only the learners but also their families, strengthening communities and thereby helping in building the nation.
The month-long celebration’s culminating activities were full of fun and games. It showcased teacher’s talent through different presentations. It also recognized outstanding teachers and loyalty awardees.
