GADGET DONATION DRIVE: “Gadget Mo, Tulong Mo para sa Edukasyon ko”
Col. E. De Leon Elementary School and Brigada Eskwela launch its first “GADGETS DONATION DRIVE: “Gadget mo, Tulong Mo Para sa Edukasyon Ko” thru the good leadership of our benevolent principal, Dr. SUSAN J. CORRO, luckily, our school received donations from different STAKEHOLDERS , GPTA, and LGU’s to support its online learning initiatives amid the Covid-19 pandemic. We gathered 1 laptop, 22 tablets and 16 cellphones with the total of 39 gadgets. Miss Arlene Tiu donated 15 smart cellphones thru the effort of Mrs. Cristy Montano, 22 tablets from the FACULTY, 1 Laptop from Daisy C. Nacario and 1 regular phone from Mrs. Primitiva Trono. This activity was participated by the parents of recipient pupils last January 30, 2021. Meanwhile, the LGU headed by the City Mayor, Hon. Edwin L. Olivares donated 22 laptops, and 626 tablets to Kinder and Grade One pupils. These donations uplift the morale of each learner in facing the new normal education.
The driving motivation of this activity inspired each family in guiding their children as they are facing this circumstances. It is essential for every learners to be equipped in this new modality of learning. In support of the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), the school continuously uplifting this project and help them reach the education they deserve.
This is to commend all the people behind this donations for their unrelenting efforts to perform their functions as well as initiatives to collaborate with their office to better serve the children in our school. Indeed, it was a successful event!
