   The law of prosperity is generosity. Through the generous act of the Local Government of Paranaque City headed by Hon. Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez and the Department of Education – SDO Paranaque City, headed by Superintendent Dr. Evangeline P. Ladines, CESO V, the teachers of Col. E De Leon Elementary School are indeed lucky to receive laptops to be used in teaching and other instructional purposes.

    To recall, fifty -eight (58) teachers of CEDLES received their Lenovo and Acer laptops last school year 2020-2021. The remaining seven (7) teachers from CEDLES received Haier Notebook Laptops and accessories last September 22, 2021, from the Supply Office of SDO Paranaque City.

    “No words could possibly express how happy I am when I was informed that I had been chosen and sponsored to receive a laptop to be used for my schoolwork and online classes. The generosity encourages me not only to continue to be hopeful through this difficult time but also to be motivated to excel in teaching and continue my professional development as a teacher. Thank you, especially to our principal Dr. Susan J. Corro, to our SDS Dr. Evangeline P. Ladines and to Hon. Mayor Edwin L. Olivares for supporting DepEd’s advocacy in providing quality education even during this pandemic. The laptops are a big help for us in conducting distance learning. God Bless and more power”, said Ms. Millibeth N. Ballesteros, a Grade 6 teacher.

    According to Ms. Christen Bejo, a newly hired teacher of Col. E De Leon Elementary School she wanted to express her sincerest gratitude to the school principal Dr. Susan J. Corro for requesting laptops for teachers and she also noted that this laptop is a very important tool for teachers especially in this kind of situation where teachers need to undergo virtual classes and Kumustahan. She also recognized the big help of our Division of Paranaque SDS and City Mayor for understanding the plight of teachers and assisting in whatever means they could to facilitate the delivery of instruction. 

   It is indeed true that prosperity emerges when there is generosity. A big salute to all school stakeholders which are committed to help in any way they could on behalf of Col. E. De Leon Elementary School.
